Medtronic published a security bulletin on June 9, 2022 covering a DDS vulnerability in the Valleylab FX8 generator, alongside a matching bulletin for the Valleylab FT10 energy platform.

The FX8 is an electrosurgical generator used in the operating room. Biomedical engineering teams should pull the bulletin into the next maintenance window and check that no FX8 has picked up a network connection it does not need.
