Medtronic published a security bulletin on June 9, 2022 covering a DDS vulnerability in the Valleylab FT10 energy platform. The company issued a parallel bulletin the same day for the Valleylab FX8 generator.

An energy platform delivers electrosurgical energy in the operating room, so any flaw in its communication software belongs in the next service plan. Use the Medtronic bulletin as the source for affected versions and the fix.
