Baxter published a bulletin on March 17, 2020, after evaluating its products against CISA alert AA20-014A on critical vulnerabilities in Microsoft Windows. It determined that ExactaMix v1.4 and v1.5 (EM1200) and v1.13 and v1.14 (EM2400) are susceptible to CVE-2020-0611.

CVE-2020-0611 is a Remote Desktop Client remote code execution vulnerability. It fires on the client side, when the compounder connects out to a malicious or compromised RDP server.

The exposure follows usage. If nobody opens RDP sessions from an ExactaMix unit, the bug has no path, and that is a habit worth enforcing.
