Philips posted an advisory on November 3, 2023, listing Vue PACS and Vue RIS/EIS as related to CVE-2023-37679 and CVE-2023-43208 in Mirth Connect, the open source data integration platform.

Philips described it as an easily exploitable, unauthenticated remote code execution vulnerability. Mirth Connect is a widely used HL7 interface engine, the place where radiology systems trade orders and results with the rest of the hospital.
