Philips issued a notice on June 22, 2026 naming PIC iX 4.x as affected by two Microsoft Windows DHCP vulnerabilities, CVE-2026-44815 and CVE-2026-45602. Microsoft has released patches for both, and Philips says it is monitoring developments.
PIC iX is the central station for patient monitoring, so a Windows networking flaw on that host lands on the clinical network. Hospitals should not patch it themselves: Philips policy limits changes on its systems to Philips-authorized updates, which makes the validated patch timeline the real exposure window.
