Philips posted an advisory on May 13, 2022, for CVE-2022-1388, a critical vulnerability in the iControl REST component of F5's BIG-IP product line. IntelliSpace PACS and Universal Data Manager 1 (UDM) are the listed Philips products.

F5 had already released recommended actions and mitigations to help eliminate the vulnerability. iControl REST is the BIG-IP management API, so the flaw sits on the appliance's control plane.
