Philips issued an advisory on June 7, 2023, listing Encore Anywhere and Care Orchestrator in connection with the MOVEit Transfer zero-day, CVE-2023-34362, and the related CVE-2023-35036. Progress Software Corporation announced the vulnerabilities in its MOVEit Transfer secure managed file transfer software.

Philips cited observed wide exploitation of the zero-day for subsequent data theft. Mass exploitation of a file transfer server pulls data out of every organization running it, whatever the data was meant for.

Every vendor whose platform touches patient data should be able to say which managed file transfer product sits behind it.
