Nihon Kohden published its response to NUCLEUS:13 on August 5, 2022. ICS-CERT advisory ICSA-21-313-03 concerns the Siemens Nucleus RTOS, which is used in some Nihon Kohden devices. The response does not name which devices.

Nihon Kohden recommends network hygiene and physical or logical isolation of the Nihon Kohden device network from external networks. Without a model list, hospitals have to ask the account team which units embed Nucleus before they can scope the risk.
