Fresenius published an Access:7 statement on June 29, 2022. It covers seven vulnerabilities in PTC's Axeda agent and Axeda Desktop Server, CVE-2022-25246 to CVE-2022-25252, described in ICS advisory ICSA-22-067-01 with an overall CVSS v3 score of 9.8, rated critical.
Fresenius Medical Care lists the 5008, 5008s and 6008 systems, Silencia, SleepSafe Harmony and the BCM Body Composition Monitor as assessed and not affected in all versions. The statement says none of the Access:7 vulnerabilities can be exploited on these products.
Axeda is remote service software, and the flaws include hard-coded credentials and missing authentication for a critical function. With the treatment machines cleared, the next thing to check in the same fleet is any remote service gateway or vendor support tool.
