Cepheid's March 11, 2026 Critical Vulnerability Notification covers the Microsoft Edge browser on GeneXpert Xpertise 7.1, used by Infinity customers. Edge builds before 141.0.3537.71 carry CVE-2025-11458, a heap buffer overflow in Sync, and CVE-2025-11460, a use after free in Storage. Both come from Microsoft's October 9, 2025 bulletin.

Cepheid says the flaws can corrupt memory when a user opens malicious web content. Sites can update from the Edge About page, download the stable build, or push it with their own deployment tools. A browser on an instrument workstation should have a short allow list of sites, and nobody should be reading mail on it.
