Canon Medical revised its security advisory on CVE-2021-34527, the Windows Print Spooler remote code execution vulnerability, on August 24, 2021. It lists Windows 10 and Windows 7 based CT, MRI, Angiography/Cardiology, Ultrasound, X-Ray Ultimax/Kalare, X-Ray Soltus/Flex-Pro/Omnera/RadPro and Eye-Care CX-1/CR/TX/Xephillo products as possibly affected, along with InnerVision service processors on Windows XP, 7 and 10.
Canon provides Microsoft update schedules and port-blocking mitigations. The Windows XP service processors stand out on that list, since XP left Microsoft support years earlier.
