Beckman Coulter posted product security information on March 8, 2022 for seven vulnerabilities in the Axeda agent and Axeda Desktop Server: CVE-2022-25246, CVE-2022-25247, CVE-2022-25248, CVE-2022-25249, CVE-2022-25250, CVE-2022-25251 and CVE-2022-25252. CISA informed the company that a researcher had found them in Axeda software used in commercial products.
The product Beckman Coulter names is the Microbiology LabPro supplied computer, which it says may be affected. Axeda is remote service software, so the exposure rides on the same channel field service uses to reach the instrument computer.
The notice says little about a fix. Labs running LabPro should ask Beckman Coulter whether Axeda is still installed on their unit and whether it needs to be.
