MedDevice Cyber writes about device manufacturers every day, usually from their own advisories. When the facts move after a story runs, or a story gets something wrong, the manufacturer should be able to say so in the same place readers found the story. This channel does that.
How it works
Enter a corporate email address. A confirmation link goes to that address; open it and press Confirm, and the filing lands with the editors. Published responses appear verbatim under the story and on the company's page, attributed to the person who filed them, with the official source linked. Addresses on file for the company show a Verified mark; the editors check any other domain by hand before anything runs.
The rules
A response has to cite a public source a reader can check: an advisory, a bulletin, a statement on your site. The story itself does not change on request. If a response shows the story was wrong, the editors add a dated note to the story and link the response. If it shows the facts changed after publication, the response is the update and the story stays as the record of what was known at the time. Editors may add a short public note for context. Responses that read as marketing, that cite nothing, or that come from an address the newsroom cannot tie to the company are not published.
Claiming a company page
Every manufacturer we cover has a page with its stories, products and CVEs. Claim it to publish your security advisory page, disclosure policy, a public security contact and your logo. Claiming also makes you the newsroom contact: every story that names your company reaches you by email the day it runs, with a link to respond.
